About this object
Virginian Daniel Morgan was a Revolutionary War legend. The frontiersman won battles through courage, ferocity, and raw ability. He later became a Representative during the 5th Congress (1797-1799).
The table below includes Members of the First and Second Continental Congresses, the Confederation Congresses, and the House of Representatives with military service in the Revolutionary War. Individuals are sorted by state, and arranged alphabetically by last name. The “Congresses” column displays the years (or numerical Congresses in the case of the federal House) served in each respective body. The “Other National Government Service” column lists additional positions held at the national level.
