CUNNINGHAM, Glenn Clarence, A Representative from Nebraska; born in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebr., September 10, 1912; graduated from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, Nebr., 1935; insurance agent; member of Omaha, Nebr., board of education, 1946-1948; member of Omaha, Nebr., city council, 1947-1948; mayor of Omaha, Nebr., 1949-1954; delegate to the Republican National Conventions, 1948 and 1952; elected as a Republican to the Eighty-fifth and to the six succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1957-January 3, 1971); unsuccessful candidate for renomination to the Ninety-second Congress in 1970; died on December 18, 2003, in Omaha, Nebr.; interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur, Burt County, Nebr.
