COUGHLIN, Daniel P., a House Chaplain; born in Chicago, Cook County, Ill., 1934; graduated from Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary, Chicago, Ill.; B.A., St. Mary of the Lake University, Mundelein, Ill., 1960; M.A.P.S., Loyola University, Chicago, Ill., 1968; ordained in the Roman Catholic Church on May 3, 1960, in LaGrange, Ill.; parish priest; vicar, Archdiocese of Chicago, Ill.; appointed Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives to the One Hundred Sixth Congress; elected Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives to the One Hundred Seventh and to the five succeeding Congresses until his resignation on April 30, 2011 (March 23, 2000–April 30, 2011).
