BARLOW, Thomas J., III, a Representative from Kentucky; born in Washington, D.C., August 7, 1940; B.A., Haverford College, Haverford, Pa., 1962; banker; business executive; conservation consultant, Natural Resources Defense Council, 1971-1982; unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the One Hundredth Congress in 1986; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Third Congress (January 3, 1993-January 3, 1995); unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Fourth Congress in 1994; unsuccessful candidate for election in 1998 and in 2002; died on January 31, 2017, in Paducah, Ky; interment in Barlow, Ky.
