TINSLEY, Isaac S., a House Chaplain; born in Franklin County, Va., November 6, 1806; pastor, Charlottesville Church, Charlottesville, Va., 1838; pastor, Albemarle County, Va.; pastor, Pittsylvania County, Va.; elected Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives to the Twenty-eighth Congress (December 16, 1843–June 17, 1844); died on October 11, 1881.
