FINSTAD, Brad, a Representative from Minnesota; born in New Ulm, Brown County, Minn., May 30, 1976; graduated from St. James High School, St. James, Minn.; B.S., University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn.; staff, United States Representative Mark Kennedy of Minnesota, 2001-2002; farmer; agriculture consultant and executive; member of the Minnesota state house of representatives, 2003-2008; Minnesota state director, United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development, 2017-2021; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Seventeenth Congress, by special election, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of United States Representative Jim Hagedorn, and reelected to the succeeding Congress (August 9, 2022-present).
