This collection consists of an award granted to Ebenezer Jackson and paid by Joseph Bryan for a dispute over 100 acres on Whitemarsh Island, Georgia. The document is dated April 8, 1801. The second item in the collection is a certified copy from the Chatham County, Georgia, Superior Court office (1901) of a relinquishment of any claims against the estate of James Bryan. The relinquishment was made by David and Ann Middleton to Joseph Bryan, Hannah Houston and Mary Wylly on November 11, 1808. A finding aid is available in the repository.
