Soon after Veterans’ Affairs Committee Chairman Ray Roberts was honored with a 1976 portrait by Robert Bruce Williams, he used the image on a postcard for his re-election campaign. The card touted Roberts long service, which had begun in 1962, and his seniority as a committee Chairman.
