A ragtag band of players gathered for the 1926 Congressional Baseball Game, which newspapers reported was the first matchup in years. The victorious Democrats were photographed on game day. Their lineup included future Agriculture Committee Chairman Marvin Jones and future Supreme Court Justice Fred Vinson. The 1926 game was the last to be played in American League Stadium. The next game, played in 1928, moved to Griffith Stadium.
