This pin was one of those worn by Members on the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Washington and New York City. They travelled to Manhattan for a Joint Meeting to commemorate the event. The solemn ceremony was held just blocks from the site of the World Trade Center, in Federal Hall, where the First Federal Congress met in 1789.
