Jonathan Dolliver of Iowa was among several Members to have portrait stereoviews published by Strohmeyer and Wyman in 1898. Although the format enjoyed great popularity throughout the second half of the 19th century, portraits were never common. Dolliver's luxuriant mustache and chairmanship of a prominent committee may have been what made him an attractive subject for the publisher.
