Police Officer Norman Richardson (center) watched as former Congressman Dewey Short (left) and John Mandis, owner of the Market Inn, tucked into goose at the restaurant’s annual wild game luncheon. Located near the House's office buildings, the Market Inn was a watering hole and dining spot for Members from the 1960s until it closed in 2008.
