The Inter-Parliamentary Union, a group of legislators from more than 40 countries, convened in the House Chamber on October 1, 1925. After welcoming remarks from Secretary of State Frank Kellogg, the union began to tackle its self-appointed challenge of addressing global problems and working toward world peace.
