Several elements in this portrait of International Relations Committee Chairman Henry Hyde are identical to the version that marks his tenure as Judiciary Committee Chairman. In both instances, the subject wears the same expression and the same suit, tie, and lapel pin. In this portrait, though, Hyde leans on a table covered with the tools of his committee’s work: maps, files, correspondence, and a book titled U.S. Foreign Affairs.
