Object Details
George Fallon chaired the Public Works Committee for six years before losing his nomination bid for the position in 1970. His portrait is one of 10 in the House Collection with the signature of Charles J. Fox. In later court documents, entrepreneur Leo Fox said that the paintings were actually done by Irving Resnikoff, a Russian-born artist in New York.
