Charlen Satrom’s second portrait of Don Young was unveiled in 2002, accompanied by a rousing sing-along of the Alaska state song. Young’s chairmanship of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is on display in every corner of the painting. A cruise ship, tractor-trailer, Alaska Railroad train, fishing boat, and an Alaska Airlines jet all traverse the canvas.
