In a departure from the space program–themed chairman portraits seen in the Committee on Science, James Sensenbrenner instead is depicted in the Wisconsin countryside, accompanied by his dog. Artist and fellow Wisconsinite George Pollard, who painted Sensenbrenner’s Judiciary Committee Chairman portrait, collaborated with his son Jim Pollard on the commission.
