Several elements in this portrait of Judiciary Committee Chairman Henry Hyde are identical to the version that marks his tenure as Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman. In both instances, the subject wears the same expression and the same suit, tie, and lapel pin. A flag is similarly tucked along the left side of the image. The attributes, however, differ; here, a small bronze head of Abraham Lincoln sits on the table next to the subject.
