Object Details

This phonographic record is the fourth in a set of four albums of the commencement exercises for the class of 1954 of the Capitol Page School. This disc contains most of the speech by the principal speaker, Attorney General Herbert Brownell Jr. As a sign of the time, the Attorney General dedicates a considerable amount of his speech to condemning communism, which he describes as “opposed not only to our concept of government, but to the purposes of all life as we understand it.”
