Object Details

Ernest Petinaud, head waiter of the House Restaurant, received the John W. McCormack Award for Excellence, recognizing his many decades of work in the House. Speaker Carl Albert, left, Sergeant at Arms Kenneth Harding, right, and Petinaud’s wife Jeannette attended the ceremony. The House established the McCormack Award to honor congressional employees for exemplary service during their House careers.
