Object Details
When Coretta Scott King came to stump for Oakland native Ron Dellums in 1970, she wore a bright green coat and a “Dollars for Dellums” button. Dellums used the green and black color scheme for the next 40 years. Posters, buttons, and banners were frequently printed in the vibrant shade.
