Object Details

Simple, backlit plastic nameplates with each Representative’s name made up the voting board in the House Chamber from 1973 until 2010. A green, red, or yellow light would illuminate next to the name to indicate whether the Member had voted yea, nay, or present. This plate indicated votes for Pennsylvanian Allyson Schwartz, who first came to the House in 2001. The state identifier differentiated her from other Members with similar names.
