Collection of the U.S. House of Representatives, Jim Oliver Collection
Object Details
In the 1960s Members such as Dominick Daniels used the House Photographer's studio to create postcards. Instead of posing behind their own desks, Representatives used a studio that resembled a congressional office. It included everything one would expect from a Member’s office, but oddly enough, replaced the Capitol seen through the window with a black-and-white version.
