This 100-pound, Texas-sized watermelon was sent to the Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce from the Lone Star state in 1940. Committee Members and staff enjoyed their juicy snack while posing for a photograph. Nobody appeared to bother with the plates, spoons, and napkins set on the table.
