This cardstock campaign blotter was distributed in Jerry O’Connell’s single successful congressional campaign. Representing Montana from 1937 to 1939, O’Connell ran again—unsuccessfully—in 1938 and 1940. He continued his political service elsewhere for the next decade, as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention and as executive secretary to the Washington State Democratic Central Committee.
