In this portrait of as chairman of the Armed Services Committee, California Congressman Buck McKeon stands on a balcony of the Capitol. In the distance is the Rayburn House Office Building, where the Armed Services Committee has met for half a century. McKeon chaired the Committee on Education and the Workforce before becoming chairman of the Committee on Armed Services. The portrait, painted by Bradley Stevens, was unveiled in 2014.
