Object Details

Oliver Frey was all business and no gimmickry on his campaign matchbook, one of the earliest examples in the House Collection. A large photograph of the congressman graced one side of the book, and his name, office and the date of election day were on the other. Frey represented a Pennsylvania district for more than five years before losing his 1938 re-election bid.
