In 1972, Sears, Roebuck and Co. introduced a complete set of trading cards for the Congressional Baseball Game. Democrats and Republicans were shown on individual cards and in a team photo. That year, the GOP won, 7-2, extending their winning streak to nine years in a row. In this group portrait, the team was joined by Minority Leader Gerald Ford.
