This baseball card commemorates the 1972 congressional Democrats' baseball team of 18 players, five cheerleaders, and two coaches. Despite the tough coaching of leader Frank "The Slugging Sheriff" Clark, they lost to the Republicans. In this image, the Democrats sported old Washington Senators uniforms. The team portrait was taken at RFK Stadium, where the game took place.
