Edna Kelly's campaign button was a patriotic call to her Brooklyn district to continue its support. The button includes two blue graphic stars, a blue half-tone image of Kelly, and red text reading "Re-elect Edna F. Kelly to Congress." The image is unusual in that Kelly was an advocate for her own intrinsic worth, and did not want her glamorous appearance to influence her success in Congress.
