Object Details

The events of September 11th, 2001, followed quickly by the anthrax mailings, created a fast-changing security situation in the Capitol. During this time, staff wore commemorative buttons inscribed with “Thank You Capitol Police” as a demonstration of support for their tireless efforts to maintain safety on the Hill.
