The Congressional Baseball Game of 1912 made news in the New York Times. The half-page spread comprises photos of each team, players in action, and a pantomimed fight between two umpires. That year, the game—which was won by the Democrats for the third time in a row— was played at American League Stadium in Northeast Washington.
