Object Details

This program was printed for ceremonies surrounding the Magna Carta, a 13th century document that was the basis for English common law and many individual rights and liberties in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. For the nation’s bicentennial in 1976, Great Britain loaned the Congress one of the surviving copies.
