The Rayburn family ranch in Bonham, Texas, was an important part of Speaker Sam Rayburn’s life and of his public image. Likely dating from the early years of his Speakership, this photo postcard of the home’s gracious, columned façade was frequently noted in biographical information on Rayburn in the press.
